Loft and firmness matter more than the brand on the label.
Side sleepers usually need a higher, firmer pillow to fill the shoulder gap; stomach sleepers usually need the flattest one in the room.

Choosing a pillow
Which pillow suits a side sleeper?
Side sleeping leaves a gap between the ear and the mattress roughly the width of your shoulder, so it generally needs the highest loft and a firmer feel to keep the neck level. Contour and shredded memory foam pillows are the usual answer because they hold height through the night rather than flattening under the head.
And for a stomach sleeper?
The flattest, softest option available. A high pillow pushes the head back and twists the neck, so low-profile and thin pillows are the ones to look at. Some people sleeping this way are more comfortable with no pillow under the head at all.
What is the difference between shredded and solid memory foam?
Solid foam holds one fixed shape, which is good for consistent support and bad if that shape is not yours. Shredded foam can be redistributed and, on adjustable pillows, removed, so you can tune the height. Shredded also breathes better, which matters if you sleep warm.
Down or down alternative?
Down and feather pillows are lighter, mould around the head and last a long time with regular fluffing, but they compress overnight and are not suitable if you are allergic. Down alternative fibre fill is hypoallergenic and machine washable, and usually costs less, but tends to clump after a year or two of use.
Can I return a pillow I have slept on?
No. For hygiene reasons returns are limited to unopened pillows in their original sealed packaging within 30 days. Anything that arrives faulty or is not what was ordered is covered regardless; the returns page sets out the process.
